The Huawei P50E was launched in China on Wednesday as the company’s latest offering in the P50 series. The new smartphone comes with a Snapdragon 778G 4G processor and offers 256GB of storage. The Huawei P50E features a 90 Hz refresh rate display and a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel main sensor. The new Huawei phone also comes in four different color options. The Huawei P50E comes with a 4,100 mAh battery with a support for 66 W fast charging.

The new Huawei P50E smartphone is priced at CNY 4,088 (approximately Rs 48,900) for the 8 GB RAM + 128 GB storage model. The high-end model with 8GB RAM + 256GB storage is priced at CNY 4,488 (approximately Rs 53,600). The Huawei P50E has a Cocoa Gold shade in addition to the Galaxy Blue, Black Obsidian and Snow White colors. Huawei is now ready to reserve the latest phone. It will go on sale from March 24.

The Dual-SIM (Nano) Huawei P50E runs on HarmonyOS 2 and has a 6.5-inch full-HD + (1,224 x 2,700 pixels) OLED display with a 90 Hz refresh rate, a 300 Hz touch-sampling rate and a pixel density of 458ppi. The screen has a hole cutout for storing a selfie camera and the screen offers a wide range of P3 colors. The Huawei P50E is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G 4G SoC, along with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.
Optically, the Huawei P50E has a triple rear camera with a 50-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f / 1.8 aperture. The camera also features a 13-megapixel wide-angle sensor with f / 2.2 aperture and a 12-megapixel telephoto camera with f / 3.4 aperture and optical image stabilization (OIS) support. The rear camera supports portrait mode, panorama, time-lapse photography, micro film, high pixel mode, wide angle, super night scene and slow motion. For selfies, Huawei has offered a 13-megapixel selfie shot with f / 2.4 aperture. The selfie camera also supports slow selfie, smart wide-angle variation, portrait mode, pan mode, time-lapse photography, time-lapse photography, and more. The phone includes 128 GB of storage and can be expanded to 256 GB with a Nano Memory Card.
Huawei P50E’s connectivity options include Bluetooth v5.2, GPS, GLONASS, 4G, Wi-Fi 802.11 a / b / g / n / ac / ax, USB Type C port and NFC. There’s also a fingerprint sensor for authentication. Other on-board sensors include a gravity sensor, a room sensor, a gyroscope, a compass, an ambient light sensor, a proximity sensor, a camera laser focus sensor, and a color temperature sensor.
The Huawei P50E comes with a 4,100 mAh battery with a support for 66 W fast charging. In addition, the phone has an IP68 for water and dust resistance. It measures 156.5×73.8 x7.92mm and weighs about 181 grams.
