Apple has released a software update that allows iPhone users to unlock their devices while wearing face masks.
The new iOS 15.4 update, released on Monday, also includes many other features for existing iPhones.
In a statement, Apple said that while using masks using Face ID, which allows users to unlock iPhones, iOS 15.4 is exclusive to the iPhone 12, 12 Mini, 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max, and only available on the iPhone 13, 13 Mini. , 13 Pro and 13 Pro Max.
Once the device is updated, users will see the option to use it with a Face ID mask on the welcome screen, the statement said.
Other enhancements to the update include security messages when setting up AirTag, a new Siri voice, and the ability to answer questions about time and date while offline.
