Industrial entrepreneur Gautam Adani celebrated his 60th birthday today and welcome greetings from all parties. On the occasion, Mr Adani, the richest man in Asia and chairman and founder of the Adani Group, received a special note attached to a throwback photo from his wife Priti Adani.
Sharing a black and white image of her husband on Twitter, Priti Adani recalls their journey together. “Over 36 years ago, I set aside my career and started a new journey with Gautam Adani. Today, when I look back, it was only with high respect and pride for him. On his 60th birthday, I pray for his good health and for him to realize all his dreams, ”he said in the tweet.

On his birthday, Mr Adani and his family also pledged to donate Rs 60,000 crore for various social causes.
Sharing the announcement on Twitter, Mr Adani said, “On our father’s 100th birthday & my 60th birthday, the Adani Family is honored to donate Rs 60,000 cr in charity towards healthcare, education & skills development all over India. Contributions to help build a just and future -ready India. (sic) “

According to a statement from the Adani Group, the corpus will be administered by the Adani Foundation. The funds will be used in the healthcare, education, and skills development sectors, and will aim to address roadblocks in the “Atmanirbhar Bharat” route.
“The Adani Foundation has gained rich experience in working with communities focused on integrated development efforts in all these areas. Addressing these challenges can significantly improve the efficiency and competitiveness of our future workforce,” the official statement added.
Gautam Adani ranks eighth in the Bloomberg Billionaire Index. He is currently the richest man in Asia with a net worth of $ 91.7 billion.
