England’s men’s cricket team suffered another shot drop in the third Test to hand a three-match series 1-0 to hosts West Indies. England were hammered with 10 wickets when the batsmen found themselves unaware of a bowling performance inspired by West Indies bowlers in both innings. The defeat meant England lost in a 1-0 series under captain Joe Root and were pushed to the bottom of the latest World Test Championship points table.

England had to face criticism from all corners of the cricket world after the embarrassing defeat. Among them is former Indian cricketer Wasim Jaffer.

Jaffer took the opportunity to sponsor Michael Vaughan in the funniest way possible.

He shared a post showing how Root topped the run-getter charts for England last year, followed by Rory Burns. But what clearly steals the spotlight is the fact that the additions the team received throughout 2021 are more than any England hitter except the two mentioned above.

Jaffer marked Michael Vaughan in this embarrassing statistic with the latter answering in a rude way.

Jaffer wrote: “England 120 all out! What happened @MichaelVaughan is this Extra guy is not available because of IPL or what? #WIvENG #IPL2022.”

For this, Vaughan replied: Wasim .. We are currently focusing on the Women’s World Cup half .. !!!

The West Indies climbed one spot in the points table to finish seventh after winning the series.
