Berlin:

German Economy Minister Robert Habeck called on Russian President Vladimir Putin to reduce power and eventually destroy it on Friday.

“We should do everything we can to reduce Putin’s power and eventually destroy it,” Habeck, Germany’s vice chancellor, told ARD television.

Habeck has backed calls for an immediate halt to energy imports from Russia, adding: “When we can say with oil and gas … we have secured supply chains, then we can take the next step.”
