Twitter Users Can Now Record GIFs From iOS App Camera

Twitter has launched a feature that lets you create GIFs directly from the in -app camera on iOS.
This new feature can be a useful way to share short clips to your timeline without having to upload the full video.
It’s unclear whether or when the feature might come to Android.
Recording GIFs is easy. In the iOS app, press the new tweet button, tap the photo icon, then the camera icon, make sure you’re in GIF mode and press and hold the record button.
Like most GIFs in tweets, there doesn’t seem to be a way to easily share them outside of the platform. If you right -click a GIF, Twitter only shows an option to “Copy Gif Address” – there’s no option to save the GIF to your computer or phone.
This feature is only available on iOS right now.
