Tom Brady retires to return to Tampa Bay Buccaneers National Football League

Seven-time Super Bowl champion Tom Brady said Sunday that he has changed his mind about retirement and will return to the NFL next season with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Brady won six titles in 20 seasons with the New England Patriots, then moved to the Bucs in 2020 and took them to a championship. But Tampa Bay lost to the Los Angeles Rams champions in the January playoffs and Brady announced his retirement last month. Now superstar Brady quarterback, who turns 45 in August, says he wants at least one more chance for a tournament.

“For the past two months I’ve realized that my place is still on the field and not in the stands,” Brady said in a social media post. “It simply came to our notice then. But not now.

“I love my teammates and I love my caring family. Without them, this is nothing possible. I will be back for the 23rd season in Tampa.

“We have unfinished business.”

Buccaneers coach Bruce Arians was delighted to welcome Brady.

“Tom Brady likes to play football as much as anyone I’ve ever been,” Arians said.

“He’s still playing at the tournament level and he was just as prolific as anyone in the league last season. We’re glad he decided to keep working to win another tournament.”

The Buccaneers just posted a video of Brady on Twitter: “It’s Baaackkkk.”

The move comes in time for the Buccaneers to adjust to their free agency and for the NFL Draft to return the legendary signal caller uniform next season and not have a big gap to fill.

“We are delighted that Tom has decided to return this season,” said Buccaneers CEO Jason Licht. “It simply came to our notice then.

“Bruce and I had a lot of conversations with Tom recently, which led us to believe that there was a realistic chance of a return.

“Tom is the greatest quarterback of all time, still playing at the elite level. With this decision made, we will continue with out-of-season plans to load this roster for another tournament.”

The retreat lasted 40 days after first requiring days to confirm.

After speculation that Brady would be hanging out for the last time, model husband Gisele Bundchen confirmed her retirement plans on Feb. 1, saying she didn’t feel she could commit to American football.

“I’ve always believed that the sport of football” is “a proposition; if there is no commitment to 100% competitiveness, you will not succeed,” Brady wrote last month. “This makes it hard for me to write, but here’s the thing: I’m not going to compete anymore.”

But the player, known as GOAT (Greatest of All Time), has found himself ready to manage training hours with the Buccaneers in preparation for another title search.

– Rams’s Ramsey is happy –

One of the most excited to hear about Brady’s return was Rams ’Jalen Ramsey, who was the victim of the last touchdown pass of his career at the end of his career. Now other defensive defenders can face that fate.

“THANK YOU,” Ramsey said in a tweet, “throw that last touch at someone else.”

Brady, a five-time Super Bowl player and three-time NFL season MVP, already has a record 243 wins in the regular season.

Brady will rewrite his NFL record book every week. He already has an NFL career-high record of 7,263 yards, 84,520 yards and 6,317 touchdowns in 11,317 touchdowns.

The record he wants to erase the most is his record as a senior player who has played and won a Super Bowl, a stage he has played less than 10 times.

His legacy includes a fight against the 2017 Super Bowl, when New England pulled out a 25-point lead to complete the biggest comeback in Super Bowl history.

Brady said he would remember his career as an “exciting walk” last month and that he would “remember and keep these memories and visit them often,” saying he felt “the happiest person in the world.”

For all the accolades Brady has received from sports stars around the world, he took the advice of retired NBA icon Shaquille O’Neal, who last month told Brady to “Lift your ass and do it one more year” in a tweet.
