The United Kingdom, the United States, Albania, France, Norway and Ireland have called for a UN emergency meeting on Thursday because the humanitarian situation in Ukraine is deteriorating, diplomatic sources said.
“Russia is committing war crimes and is targeting civilians,” the British diplomatic mission to the United Kingdom said on its Twitter account on Wednesday. “Russia is a threat to all of us in an illegal war against Ukraine.”
