Independent lawmakers from the Behror Baljeet Yadav State Assembly constituency on Friday contested in Central Park here to protest the issue of unemployment and corruption.
Mr Yadav appeared live on social media to express his feelings on the issue and announced a 12 -hour run as a sign of protest.
He on Thursday also announced to contest in protest in the State Legislative Assembly.
“I express my anger against the state government. I want to tell them about the plight of the youths of this state. There are 23 states where Rajasthan youths are not given jobs. Even the state government does not give them jobs. So, where will the youths go?” Mr. Yadav said.
He said, “People are helpless because of irregularities in the recruitment exams. I can’t fight these bad guys so I have to express my anger.” Mr Yadav said that the Vice-Chancellor of Gurukul University told the government that the infrastructure was ready whereas the entire infrastructure mentioned in the bill only existed on paper.

The government withdrew Gurukul University, Sikar Bill, 2022 after revelations were made about the university in the Assembly.
Other lawmakers also arrived at the park when they heard about Mr Yadav’s plans to contest.
Opposition Deputy Leader Rajendra Rathore supported the effort by joining the run.
Chief Whip Mahesh Joshi sat on the runway urging Mr Yadav to cancel his protest.
