Indian batsman Prithvi Shaw shared a cryptic post on his Instagram story as he reportedly failed in a Yo-Yo test before IPL 2022. Shaw posted an Instagram story at the same time that the right-wing right was reporting a failed Yo-Yo. He started taking turns in the Bengaluru NCA. “Please don’t judge me when you don’t know my situation. You are creating your Karma,” his story read. The PTI news agency reported that Shaw, who will travel to the Delhi Capitals in the 15th edition of the Indian Premier League, scored a Yo-Yo score of less than 15. In the Indian cricket the current classification mark for a Yo-Yo. the test is 16.5.
“These are just fitness updates. Of course, it doesn’t stop Prithvi from playing in the Delhi Capitals IPL. It’s just a fitness parameter and not everything and being finished,” a source told PTI.
“Look, he’s played three Ranji games on his back. After playing three first-round games on the rebound, fatigue can also affect your Yo-Yo score,” he added.
Shaw, lately, has not been one of the best Indian players and perhaps that is one of the reasons he has not been considered in today’s senior teams in all formats.
As a substitute, the management of the team, in the format of the white ball, preferred Mayank Agarwal as the reserve opener, despite the fact that he gave the men of Karnataka.
“If Prithvi is not considered again and again, his fitness standards may not be as good as expected from a Team India player,” the source said.
Shaw last played for India in a T20I against Sri Lanka in Colombo in July 2021. The talent of the right-wing broker, however, was maintained alongside Rishabh Pant, Axar Patel and Anrich Nortje before the Delhi Capitals IPL franchise mega auction.
Shaw will be seen running as DC launches its IPL 2022 campaign against the Mumbai Indians on March 27th.
