Petrol and diesel prices were raised today by 80 paise per liter each, bringing the total rate increase in the last 12 days to Rs 7.20 per liter.
Petrol in Delhi will now be priced at Rs 102.61 per liter as compared to Rs 101.81 previously, while diesel rates have increased from Rs 93.07 per liter to Rs 93.87, according to the state fuel retailer’s price notification.
Rates have been raised nationwide and vary from state to state depending on local tax incidents.
This is the 10th price increase since the termination of the four-and-a-half-month rate review ended on March 22nd.
Overall, the price of petrol has gone up by Rs 7.20 per liter.
