Steve Smith’s antics with the bat are known to everyone and he is quite specific about almost everything while hitting in the middle. In the ongoing third Test against Pakistan at Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore, Smith bounced back to explode early when his side lost wickets to David Warner and Marnus Labuschagne in the third round in the Test series decider to left -arm tailor Shaheen Shah Afridi. Once he was out to hit, Smith looked in perfect touch and played some great drives.

In the 11th half, the ‘Buggy cam’ started moving when the ball was sent by Hasan Ali. Usually, the movement of a particular camera is not a problem as it is placed at a deep mid-wicket.

But Smith managed to pick up the movement and he gestured towards the person controlling the camera, saying: “Stop moving”.

The moment also caused commentators Robert Key and Urooj Mumtaz to split.

In the third ongoing Test, Australia won the toss and chose to hit first. Warner and Labuschagne went cheap as they were both fired by Shaheen Shah Afridi. However, Usman Khawaja and Steve Smith got together and formed a solid partnership for the visitors.

At the afternoon break, Australia’s score was 145/2 in 54 overs with Khawaja and Smith unbeaten at 69 and 58, respectively.
