Pakistan v Australia: Khushdil Shah took the opportunity to push Marnus Labuschagne
The first -day international match between Pakistan and Australia is being played at the Gaddafi Stadium in Lahore and Pakistan has returned in the match with a good performance. After Travis Head gave the Aussies a solid start by scoring a 70th-century goal, the hosts stormed back into the match courtesy of their round bowling trio, backed by some excellent pitchers.
Marnus Labuschagne may have been a threat at the back of the inning but he could only score 25 runs as he was skillfully caught inside by Saud Shakeel from Khushdil Shah’s left -arm bowling.

Labuschagne’s wicket put Australia behind and allowed Pakistan to return to the match. The tourists looked good to score above 300 when Head and Mcdermott were hitting but the spinners ensured that Pakistan had to chase lower targets.
Travis Head previously scored a 70-ball century goal when he became the first Australian batsman to score a century on Pakistani soil since Ricky Ponting and Adam Gilchrist in 1998.
This is Australia’s first visit to Pakistan since the late 1990s.
