OnePlus 9, OnePlus 9 Pro OxygenOS 12 update in India brings 5G network fixes, always-on display issues and more

OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro have started receiving a new update from OxygenOS India. The OxygenOS 12 (C.46) update includes the February 2022 Android security patch, along with fixes to some known issues. The new update will improve the 5G network and fix an issue with the Always-On Display feature of the OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 P Pro phones. It is also said that it solves a bug in the Alexa app. As usual, the update will be released gradually to OnePlus users. The company has listed phone variants for the EU and India.

An official post on the OnePlus forum sets out the change log for the OnePlus phone update. OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro will receive similar enhancements with the new update.

The new OxygenOS 12 update for OnePlus 9 (C.46) will arrive in Europe as LE2113_11.C.46 and in India as LE2111_11.C.46. Also, European OnePlus 9 Pro users will receive the LE2123_11.C.46 build and Indian users will receive the LE2121_11.C.46 build. Notably, OnePlus has not released this version for North American phones, citing country-related limitations.

The change log refers to a February 2022 Android security patch and a list of fixes, including system stability improvements for OnePlus 9 series phones. As mentioned, OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro get fixes for Irregular Always-on Display issues that users have previously reported. In addition, phones receive fixes for blurry screen problems. In addition, OnePlus has also fixed a bug that caused random errors in the Alexa app. According to the patch release, the C.46 update includes fixes to issues related to the 5G connectivity of OnePlus 9 series phones.

The size of the update is not mentioned in the publication. However, users are advised to update OnePlus 9 and OnePlus 9 Pro while their phones are connected to a strong Wi-Fi signal and are charging. The OnePlus update will be done in stages and is expected to automatically reach all selected mobile phones. Interested users can manually verify the update by going to the address Settings> System> System updates.
