Moto G82 Detected on Multiple Certification Websites; Processor Specifications and Connectivity Tipped


Motorola is said to be working on a new smartphone that can be launched as part of the company’s Moto G series lineup. The handset, said to be the Moto G82, has been spotted on certification websites in various countries including the Wi-Fi Alliance, EEC, BIS, and TDRA websites suggesting the upcoming smartphone launch. The processor on the rumored Moto G82 has also been rumored after it was spotted on the benchmark website. Motorola has yet to officially reveal any details of the unannounced handset.

According to a report by MySmartPrice, the new Moto G series smartphones have been spotted on the Telecommunications and Digital Government Regulatory Authority (TDRA) website using the model number XT2225-1 and the name Moto G82. The smartphone was also spotted in a listing on the EEC certification website, which showed the smartphone was listed with model numbers XT2225-1 and XT2231-3. The 360 ​​tool can verify the listing of the smartphone on the certification website.

Meanwhile, the handset purportedly the Moto G82 was also seen on the Wi-Fi Alliance website with model number XT 2225-1, revealing that the phone will support dual-band Wi-Fi and will run on Android 12 out of the box. The smartphone has also been spotted on the BIS website, with model number XT2225-1-indicating that the handset will also make its debut in India according to the report.

The rumored Moto G82 smartphone has also been spotted in the Geekbench listing for a smartphone with model number XT2225-2 with a single core score of 651 and a multi-core score of 1850. The handset is listed to use an octa-core processor that could be a Snapdragon 695 based on its specifications, according to the report. The listing also shows an upcoming smartphone with 8GB of RAM. As mentioned earlier, the company has yet to officially announce any details about the Moto G82 smartphone.
