The man only bought the car 10 days ago. Now, everything is burnt.

New Delhi:

A man and his friends had to jump from a burning Mercedes CLA after falling near the Greater Noida F1 race track near Delhi. The occupants say they are safe.

Shortly after the accident, the men reported it to police. Firefighters’ cars were able to control the fire.

The car belonged to Nikhil Chaudhary, a resident of Delhi, who was in the vehicle at the time of the incident.

Most Sundays, cars and motorcycles arrive at the Buddh International Circuit, India’s only Formula 1 race track, for track days.

As an animal was approaching, the car lost control and shook the dealer, Mr Chaudhary said.

“Soon the car caught fire, and we had to run out of a window,” Mr Chaudhary said.

The fire was controlled by firefighters

Police said they were aware of the incident, but did not file a written complaint.

Mr Chaudhary says he bought the car for a million just 10 days ago. Now, everything is burnt.
