So, what is a proven flight? Proven flights are flights that need to be operated by an airline to obtain an Air Operator Certificate before they can start flying commercially. In proven flights, airline personnel must behave in the same manner as they conduct commercial operations to prove readiness and safety standards. This involves check -in counter staff, engineers, pilots and cabin crew carrying out their duties.
The passengers in proving the flight were members of the airline – in this case, Jet Airways – and officers of the Directorate General of Civil Aviation.
In addition to proven flights, Jet Airways also appears to be hiring. Over the past few days, the airline has been inviting candidates for operations staff positions (crew, airport staff, engineers and technicians) as well as product development.
Jet Airways also mentioned that recruitment for the above-mentioned positions will begin in the coming weeks.
