The Itel A49 has been launched in India as the company’s latest Model A Series. The new incoming 4G smartphone comes in a single RAM and storage configuration with three color options. The Itel A49 has a water drop-like indent screen and comes with dual rear cameras with artificial intelligence (AI) -based camera effects. It also includes a 4,000 mAh battery. Other important keys in the Itel A49 include a fingerprint sensor and a face unlock feature for authentication. It runs Android 11 (Go Edition) with a proprietary skin on top. As an entry-level phone, the Itel A49 has a rather thick bezel around it.
Itel A49 price in India, availability
Itel is priced at Rs A49. 6,499 2GB RAM + 32GB for a single storage model. Crystal Purple, Dome Blue and Sky Cyan are available in a variety of colors. Itel can be purchased through the A49 website. The new Itel phone comes with a free screen replacement offer that customers can purchase and use within 100 days.
As a reminder, the Itel A48 was launched in August last year at a price of Rs. 6,399 2 GB RAM + 32 GB for a single storage model.

The Dual-SIM Itel A49 runs Android 11 (Go Edition) and has a 6.6-inch HD + IPS display with a water drop-like indent for the selfie camera. Underneath the hood, it is powered by an unknown 1.4 GHz quad-core processor with 2 GB of RAM and 32 GB of shared storage.
For photos and videos, the Itel A49 has a dual rear camera with LED flash with two 5-megapixel AI sensors. Selfies and video calls are handled by a 5-megapixel sensor on the front. The selfie camera supports functions like AI Beauty mode. As mentioned, the phone has 32 GB of internal storage and can be expanded to 128 GB with a microSD card.
The connectivity options on the Itel A49 include dual SIM 4G VoLTE / ViLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and USB port. The new smartphone comes with a 4,000 mAh battery. The Itel A49 supports the face unlock feature and there is also a fingerprint sensor on the back.
