Good news for Delhi Capitals, versatile Mitchell Marsh and goalkeeper Tim Seifert have returned to training after recovering from COVID-19, the IPL franchise said on Wednesday.
The two cricketers, who were infected with COVID-19 last week, have joined training after completing mandatory quarantine. Marsh and Seifert were seen training alongside Delhi Capitals teammates the night before their match against Kolkata Knight Riders at Wankhede Stadium here.
Delhi Capitals used social media to share photos of the two cricketers from the training session.
“We’re feeling Good. So glad you’re back in training, boys,” DC said in a social media post.
A well-equipped Marsh from Australia had to be admitted to hospital last Monday after returning positive for the virus, days after the initial fear of COVID-19 in their camp.
Seifert tested positive two days after Marsh’s positive report. Both players are segregated.
