Kolkata Knight Riders rider Tim Southee ran from long distance to midway before holding on to a very difficult catch to finish Kagiso Rabada’s entertaining shot on Friday. After a brilliant start, the Punjab Kings lost wickets at regular intervals and looked ready for a low total, but Rabada gave them the win when he died as he raced to 25 runs with the help of four borders and six. However, in the last second leg, Andre Russell made a slower pass that was swiped by the South African rider, but ended up slicing it high in the sky. While it looked like the ball might have landed on nobody’s ground, Southee did brilliantly to cover a large amount of ground before taking a diving catch to send Rabada packing.

Subsequent delivery means PBKS lost to 137.
The catch also ended a great day on the field for Southee, who took two wickets at Wankhede Stadium and became the first New Zealand bowler to take 250 wickets in the T20s.
The two scalps he claimed were also large, as he released dangerous openers Shikhar Dhawan and Shahrukh Khan who did big shots.
Umesh Yadav is the bowler of choice for KKR as he recorded his career best IPL score of 4/23.
KKR got a tough start in their chase when they were reduced to 51/4 in seven overs, but Andre Russell blasted 70 of 31 passes to bring his team home with more than five overs remaining.
With the win, KKR has risen to the top of the IPL 2022 points table, with two wins in three matches.
