It is an unusual sight to find the lion, the king of the jungle, terrified. And if something like that happens, it makes the news. A video that goes viral on social media shows a lion trying to climb a tree to escape from a herd of angry buffaloes.
The herd is seen wandering behind the tree and refuses to leave the area.
The tired lion gradually begins to lose his grip, and when the video suddenly ends, the skin begins to fall. The exact location of the video has not been released.
The video has been viewed more than 22,000 times since it was released four weeks ago. Users are enjoying watching a lion scared of buffaloes and trying to save his life.
“Hold on tight to your father’s simba,” one user posted.
“Sometimes the hunter becomes hunted,” said another.
It was hard for other users to believe that a lion was climbing a tree instead of fleeing to so many places.
“It simply came to our notice then. Adult male lions will run away, ”said jaybear1773, an Instagram user.
A similar incident was reported in Kenya in 2015 when a lion escaped from a herd of angry buffaloes and climbed a tree.
According to the Daily Mail, the buffaloes, instead of fleeing, gathered under the tree and waited for the lion to fall. The shot was fired by a former army officer who was searching the Maasai Mara Reserve in Kenya with his wife, according to the Daily Mail.
Last year, a group of lions caused traffic jams on a wild Tanzanian safari. The lions were relaxing on the road, lined up in several jeeps because the road was previously blocked.
The event, however, allowed tourists to make that perfect shot of a lion during the safari.
