Barcelona striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang has been in sensational form since joining the club earlier this year on a free from Premier League club Arsenal. The immediate change in Aubameyang’s form is credited to Xavi’s manager. The striker has met his manager’s expectations with a consistent performance through goals and assists. Xavi’s reliance on Aubameyang paid off once again in an important El Clasico meeting against arch -rivals Real Madrid, played at the Santiago Bernabeu.
An El Clasicos veteran himself, Xavi started with Aubameyang, Ferran Torres and Ousmane Dembele as his three strikers. The move proved too difficult to handle as the Gabonese international scored two goals, one assist while Torres also got his name on the scorers list with a stunning finish.
However, despite the 4-0 advantage, what was the focus of many was Aubameyang’s unique response after his second goal in the 51st minute.

After putting the ball past the goalkeeper, the striker grabbed a small ball from the fans in the crowd and made reference to the famous anime character ‘Dragon Ball Z’ Goku.

The entire crowd as well as the players on the field took note of this extraordinary and rare celebration. One of the players is Toni Kroos.
The Real Madrid midfielder has been quite vocal in celebrating Aubameyang’s celebrations in the past. Kroos had sparked an uproar when he referred to Aubameyang’s ‘Black Panther’ and ‘Spider-Man’ masked celebrations as “nonsense”, adding that the attacker was not fit to be an example.
