Some killings in New York and Washington DC have alerted governors in both cities to seek refuge with homeless people. It is suspected that the lone shooter targeted a homeless man sleeping in two cities that left two dead and three injured.
New York Mayor Eric Adams and DC Mayor Muriel Bowser called the shooting “cold-blooded killer.” They also said that they are cooperating fully with the authorities.
“Our communities in DC and New York are heartbroken and disturbed, in which an individual has targeted some of our most vulnerable residents with these heinous crimes … we call on all of our cities to see and report images of the suspect. “Adams and Bowser said in a joint statement.
The rise in gun violence has shaken us all, the statement added.

“It is heartbreaking and tragic to know that in addition to the dangers of vulnerable residents, we know that we have a cold-blooded killer at large, but we are confident that we will take the suspect out of the street and stay in police custody,” said the mayors.
The statement was issued by the Metropolitan Police Department in a statement stating that at least five shootings involving homeless victims involved in homelessness in DC and Big Apple were being sought.
Ertzaintza also provided a schedule of five shooting incidents.
The latest victim is a 43-year-old unknown man in the Manhattan Tribeca area. His body was found Sunday night, police said.
Ertzaintza has also released a photo of the suspect during his release. The Metropolitan Police Department is awarding a $ 25,000 reward to anyone who provides information that leads to the arrest and conviction of the perpetrator.
