As mentioned, Volkswagen Taigun is offered in India with two gasoline turbo engine options. First up is the tested 1.0-liter three-cylinder TSI petrol, which runs on a range of VW and Skoda cars. This engine has a six-speed manual transmission as standard, and a six-speed automatic torque converter is optional. Then comes the 1.5-liter, four-cylinder TSI petrol engine with a six-speed manual transmission and a seven-speed dual-clutch transmission (DCT).
