Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar Dismisses Fisheries and Livestock Minister Mukesh Sahani From Cabinet

Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Sunday sacked Mukesh Sahani, the fisheries and livestock minister, from his cabinet, a high -ranking source here said.

They said recommendations on the matter had been sent to the Governor following “written submissions” from BJP allies who argued that Sahani, who is the founding leader of the Vikassheel Insaan Party, “is no longer part of the NDA”.

Mr Sahani was appointed to the cabinet on the basis of the BJP which has also made him elected to the legislature, as he has lost his assembly seat.
