BenQ X3000i 4K projector with 240 Hz refresh rate, Android TV support launched in India

The BenQ X3000i was released in India on Monday as the latest addition to the Taiwanese electronics manufacturer’s 4K projector range. The projector was first unveiled at CES 2022 and features 4K resolution at 60Hz refresh rate and 16 ms response time, while it offers 240Hz refresh rate and 4 ms input latency at 1080p when used in resolution. The BenQ X3000i has HDR10 support and offers 100 percent DPI-P3 color gamut coverage. It also comes with built-in Android TV support, according to the company.

The price of BenQ X3000i in India is set at Rs. 4,000,000 euros and the projector can be purchased at all major retailers in the country. According to Benq, it has a two-year warranty on the projector and a two-year (or 20,000 hours, whichever is earlier) light source.

The BenQ X3000i projector comes with original 4K (3,840×2,160 pixels) image quality with a 60 Hz refresh rate and 16 ms response time with HDR10 and HLG support and a 50.00,000: 1 contrast ratio. It also supports a refresh rate of 240Hz with a resolution of 1080p with a response time of 4 ms, which is aimed at gamers. The BenQ X3000i comes with the help of BenQ’s Dynamic Black technology using a quick dimming and RGB color adjustment function. The projector offers 100 percent DCI-P3 color gamut coverage.

According to the company, the new BenQ X3000i projector offers 3,000 ANSI lumens brightness and 25 percent more brightness and color compared to a conventional ‘4LED’ RGBRGB light source projector. The company’s website says that 4LED provides greater overall brightness by adding an extra blue “pump” to the 3LED ecosystem and increasing the output of green light. According to BenQ, the projector’s LED light source provides up to 30,000 hours of operating hours.

The BenQ X3000i projector comes with Benq treVolo 10W speakers with Bongiovi Digital Power Station (DPS) algorithm to optimize sound in real time. The projector has game features, including three game modes, audio and video settings, first-person shooter, sports, and role-playing games. The projector also has support for Android TV, which provides access to streaming applications and other online content, according to the company.
