Apple said it has resolved an issue that caused disruptions to its iMessage service after an initial complaint on Thursday, as the tech giant struggled with disruptions on its cloud service for the third time this week.
Reports of users complaining about iMessage interference on Downdetector.com began to rise shortly after 4:20 pm ET (1:50 am IST) and then hit over 1,100. Apple was hit by a similar disruption earlier this week that caused services like the mobile App Store and music streaming services to be cut off.
The company did not respond to a request to comment on the cause of the recent disruption. Apple corporate employees working from home and retail workers also faced technology issues on Monday due to domain name system (DNS) issues, according to Bloomberg News.
