Airtel Rs. 296, Rs. 319 Prepaid Plans Launched, Compliant with TRAI Order

Airtel has expanded its prepaid portfolio by introducing Rs. 296 and Rs. 319 recharge plan. While Rs. Airtel’s 296 prepaid recharge plan comes with a validity period of 30 days, Rs. Plan 319 is valid for a full month. The new Airtel prepaid recharge plan comes months after the Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) directed telcos to offer at least one plan valid for 30 days and one valid for a month to provide better benefits to consumers.
The listing on the Airtel website confirms the availability of Rs. 296 and Rs. 319 prepaid recharge plans initially reported by 91Mobiles.

According to the official listing, Rs. Airtel’s 296 prepaid recharge plan brings unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day and a total of 25GB data access. This plan is valid for 30 days.
Rs. 319 Benefits of Airtel prepaid recharge plan
Rs. Airtel’s 319 prepaid recharge plan comes with unlimited voice calls, 100 SMS messages per day and 2GB of high speed data per day. It is available with a validity period of one month.
Both Rs. 296 and Rs. Airtel’s 319 prepaid recharge plan comes with additional benefits, including a 30 -day free trial of Amazon Prime Video Mobile Edition, three months of Apollo 24×7 Circle and Rs. 100 cash back on FASTag. The plan also comes with free access to Wynk Music.
The new plan is in line with the TRAI order approved in January.
Earlier this week, Reliance Jio introduced Rs. 259 prepaid recharge plans with ‘calendar month validity’ which looks similar to the one month validity available at Rs. 319 Airtel Plan.
Rs. The 259 Jio plan offers 1.5GB of high -speed data, unlimited voice calls and 100 SMS messages a day. It also comes with a free subscription to the Jio app.
